Karen does wildlife animal reabilitation, so there are lots of critters around. She also does fiber arts and she taught me to spin and knit!
It is very pretty and green here in Maine and everyday I could I swam in a near by "pond" (a pond in Maine is big enough for boats). It was spring fed and beautifully clear. In the evening it had picturesque sunsets with the mountains in the background. Unfortunately I did not get any photos of Woods Pond.
I also got to have Irish black and white pudding... which is concealed blood sausage. It was very good.
