Blackbird State Forest, DE to Philadelphia, PA to French Creek State Park, PA

Tayrn in our night stay in Blackbird State Forest in DE. We spend the day bumbling around DE... trying to find a nice place to stay. Past through MD on the coast and through farm land. So quaint. Stopped at a famous brewery, Dogfish Head in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Come to find out all the good beaches are on the southern part of DE. We stopped at a beach, so hot and ready for the ocean..... It was more like a rock, snail, ankle deep bay water. So we journyed on to this forest. It doesn't look like much, but the trees were so tall, only with ferns on the ground, and you could see forever. Also, there are only four secluded primitive campsites. We never saw anyone the whole time we were there.
Hello Philly

Tayrn living in Philadelphia for a few years, so she showed me around downtown. My first taste of New England architecture I feel like. We also went to a huge market called "west terminal market" it was so crowded on a Saturday. I have never seen anything like it. Old ladies pushing me to get an Amish pretzel.
State forest north of Philly. The ranger let me stay at this unmarked campsite for free! They were also trying to give me a tent to sleep in, because I just have a tarp (a very fancy one.. that is sewed into a taco shell for when it rains). Such kindness.

Lots of stone old barns in the countryside of PA. This one was particularly stunning to me.

The owner of the barn saw me taking photos and said he was hoping I would be more impressed with the house than the barn : ) Then he gave me the history of the property. House was from 1790 and the barn from 1810. Pretty cool...
